Liz Rojas is an internationally acclaimed salsa dancer, choreographer and instructor known for her extensive styling repertoire and her significant contributions to the global salsa community. As the co-founder of Salsamania Dance Company and the annual San Francisco Salsa Festival, Liz has become a driving force in the industry, inspiring dancers worldwide with her unique artistry and passion for salsa.
Born and raised in Colombia, Liz draws upon her rich cultural heritage to bring depth and vibrancy to her dancing. Together with her partner John Narvaez, Liz has earned numerous accolades, including victories at the World Salsa Championships and the World Latin Dance Cup.
Since founding Salsamania Dance Company in 2000, Liz has been instrumental in developing some of the most technically skilled salsa dancers and teams globally. Under her leadership, Salsamania has grown into a premier training program emphasizing musicality, professionalism and the social beauty of dance. The company has hald-a-dozen performance teams and over 80 members, touching lives through its structured approach to education and world-class performances across Asia, Europe, and South America.
