Tamara Livolsi is an internationally renowned salsa dancer, choreographer and instructor, best known for her expertise in Puerto Rican salsa and her versatility across dance disciplines like jazz, ballet, and hip hop. With over 20 years of experience, she has performed in more than 75 cities worldwide and worked alongside her husband and dance partner, Tito Ortos, to promote salsa on a global stage.
Born in Argentina and raised in Puerto Rico, Tamara inherited her love of dance from her mother. Her talent and dedication have led her to work with prominent artists like Luis Fonsi, David Bisbal, Ednita Nazario, and Grupo Mania. Together with Tito, she has judged international competitions, including the Salsa Open and the World Salsa Championships and co-produces the Puerto Rico Hustle and Salsa Festival.
Tamara’s career highlights include appearances in films such as Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, El Cantante and American Gangster, as well as television commercials and dance videos, including the music video for Baile Involvidable by Bad Bunny. She is also a co-owner of Rhythms Dance Studio, where she continues to mentor and inspire new generations of dancers. As part of the Puerto Rico Salsa Congress organization Tamara remains a key figure in preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Puerto Rican salsa worldwide.
