About this event
Cuban Nights with Hermes is a special weekly event in Osaka, running on Tuesday evenings in Spring 2025. Professional Cuban dancer Hermes is visiting Osaka to teach and perform, bringing authentic Cuban casino style to the local scene.
Every Tuesday, starting April 22, 2025, Hermes leads two workshops (e.g. Cuban salsa “casino” and a son or rumba mix) from 7:00–9:00 PM, followed by a social dance party with Cuban salsa music until 11:00 PM. This series is a limited engagement (planned through May or June), making it a rare chance to learn Cuban salsa from a top instructor in Japan.
Cost: ¥3,500 for the full night (two lessons + party with 1 drink), or ¥2,500 for party-only with a drink.
Venue: Vida Latina studio in Osaka, which provides a friendly, communal atmosphere (advance reservation recommended so they can gauge attendance. Whether you dance LA/NY style or Cuban style, you’ll enjoy this immersion into Cuban casino – a fun change of pace on Tuesday nights!
