Join the Moxy Osaka Shin-Umeda Salsa & Latin Dance Party for a stylish yet casual night of dancing. Held on the third Friday of each month at the Moxy Hotel in Umeda, this event starts with a FREE beginner salsa lesson from 7:00–8:00 PM – perfect for newcomers to get the basics.
From 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, a Latin DJ spins a lively mix of salsa and bachata, and even takes requests for kizomba, zouk, or merengue, keeping the party versatile.
Cost: ¥2,000 at the door which includes one drink from the Moxy’s bar.
The atmosphere is fun and trendy (it’s in a boutique hotel lobby), yet very welcoming – you’ll see hotel guests, local dancers, and expats all joining in. The venue (Moxy Osaka Shin-Umeda) offers food and additional drinks for purchase, so you can make a full social night of it. Come as you are, no partner needed, and enjoy a Friday filled with Latin rhythms in the heart of Osaka.
