Salsa lessons and Latin dancing every Friday night at the 2nd floor of the Egoland Bar in Akihabara (just a 2-minute walk from Akihabara station).
Salsa lessons with Makoto Morita start from 7:30pm, followed by social dancing until 11:30pm. Resident DJ Hiro keeps a high-energy salsa / bachata / merengue mix rolling while the bar serves up tequila shots.
Entry fee is ¥2,500 for the lesson and party or just ¥1,500 for the social.
Friendly staff, serious cocktails, and a steady crowd of repeat dancers give the night a welcoming vibe.
