A lot of our visitors have been asking us when the Alum Rock Salsa Festival in San Jose is going to be held this year, so we did a bit of research, and it looks like the event is not going to be held in 2012. Here is the official statement from the Alum Rock Village Business Association (ARVBA) which organizes the festival:
“We will not have a salsa festival in 2012. but we are working hard to plan one for 2013. We will keep everyone posted. Thank you for all the support.” (via Facebook)
If you need to get your outdoor dancing fix, the Redwood City Salsa Festival is coming up in September 29th, featuring live music from 10 different salsa & Latin bands, along with plenty of dancing.
