Cafe Cocomo Re-Openning

Cafe Cocomo, one of San Francisco’s top salsa spots which was closed for over a month, may be re-opening as soon as today. It appears that the attorneys for Cafe Cocomo were able to prevail in court, and the club may be starting up again tonight if the club owners are able to get everything in order in time.

The club organizers will know for sure by this afternoon whether the club will be open tonight. We will keep you posted with the latest updates regarding Cafe Cocomo.

UPDATE: It looks like Cocomo will not be back yet tonight due to logistics, but they are aiming to re-open this weekend.

UPDATE 2: According to the Cafe Cocomo website, Cocomo will be opening again this weekend.

It looks like the grand re-opening won’t be happening tonight, but they are shooting for this weekend.

Well, it “appears” that Cocomo’s owner got the building back. Now it’s all wait and see what happens. Their website hasn’t been updated in 2 weeks and there’s no indication of when they’ll re-open. I’m assuming (hoping) for Thurs, Sept 13. Lots of “positive rumors” flying around about the re-opening but nothing to substantiate it.

They ought to get PACIFIC MAMBO ORCHESTRA for the grand re-opening. There’s no better way to bring this party alive!!!
