Pacific Mambo Orchestra Releasing New Single “Pacific Mambo Dance”

Last year the Pacific Mambo Orchestra from the SF Bay Area shocked the music world by winning a Grammy Award for Best Tropical Latin Album over household names such as Marc Anthony.

Now, for the first time since their Kickstarter-funded launch in 2013, Pacific Mambo Orchestra is launching a brand new single called the “Pacific Mambo Dance”. The single will be available worldwide digitally on March 3rd 2015. The new song from PMO is an infectious, get-off-your-feet dance anthem that aims to be a favorite at salsa clubs around the world.

The song features PMO’s signature style of jouyous instrumentals (band leaders Christian Tumalan on piano and Steffen Kuehn on trumpet) as well as hypnotic lyrics and vocals from Armando Cordoba and Alexa W. Morales. “Pacific Mambo Dance” starts with mambo as its base with playful and retro riffs that take the song in a whole new direction.

The single will be released with an accompanying music video featuring vibrant and colorful backdrops and plenty of dancing. Local dance groups such as RicaSalsa and John & Andrew make an appearance, showcasing some of the best dance talent that the Bay Area has to offer.

The new single will be available worldwide on March 3rd. Visit Pacific Mambo Orchestra’s website for more info.
