Bay Area Sites
World Salsa Radio is an online radio station founded in 2020 by Felipe Martinez, aka DJ EldelaClave. The show features music played by top salsa DJs from around the world, and also features interviews with prominent members of the salsa dance community.
Afinkao Dance Co. is well known in the community for creative avant garde choreography and fluid body movement. Founded in 2005 by Tellina Rezzoffi and JC Labio, Afinkao also hosts Latin Fever Fridays, the popular monthly social at The Beat in Berkeley.
The website of Jake Jacobs, a local Bay Area salsa teacher who has been teaching salsa for over 10 years, and teaches salsa lessons every week at Cafe Cocomo in San Francisco.
